Land Stewardship and Property Environmental Management Integrated land management solutions are based on a host of environmental, social and economic considerations, which include sustainable forestry, reforestation, MFTIP, organic agriculture, permaculture, ecological restoration, protection of species at risk, soil erosion and sedimentation control, naturalization and fine landscape design.
Environmental Assessment and Civil Engineering Project Support Mr. Peterson serves on multi-disciplinary engineering consulting teams that provide a variety of environmental services, facility development, approvals, and construction administration services for government agencies, municipalities, and the private sector.
Landscape Planning, Landscape Design, Visioning, Research, Mapping and Report Preparation Services include visioning exercises, natural heritage strategies, landscape master planning, and site design integrated with architecture, circulation and servicing infrastructure. Drafting and mapping services include CAD, GIS and GPS in various database formats. Research and report preparation services are provided. Recreation and Trail Master Planning Recreational use studies assess impacts, opportunities and constraints for permitted and non-permitted uses, opportunities for eco-tourism, trail and infrastructure design, and income and expense projections for capital and operating plans. Clients are in both public and private sectors.
Vista Management, Aesthetic Assessment, Visual Inventory and Analysis
Visual inventories and aesthetic assessments are provided under Provincial Highways Group “A’ and “B” Environmental Assessment, or are developed individually for specific projects. On-site assessments involve view and vista management.
